FLAMINGO is primarily responsible for all the very different cultural events that take place in the institution all round the year. The club comprises of Dance , Music and Dramatics  that handle different types of cultural events. The club is focused on helping students explore their talents and hone them so to become proficient in it ,helping them achieve the much-needed balance between academics and extracurricular activities.

Focused on bringing out the hidden talents in ourstudents,this club organizes multiple events regularly. Whether students wish to showcase their talents or try their hands at something new and discover their potential, this is the place to be.

 

The club promotes active participation by the students without interfering in their academic lives. The club creates a stress busting environment where the students can unwind and discover themselves better

Purpose:

Flamingo, the Cultural Society, aims to foster creativity, expression, and cultural awareness among students. It serves as a platform where individuals can explore their talents beyond academics and engage in meaningful artistic and cultural experiences. The society strives to build a vibrant community that celebrates diversity, creativity, and collaboration.


Objectives:

  • Encourage Talent: Provide opportunities for students to showcase skills in music, dance, drama, literature, and other art forms
  • Promote Cultural Engagement:Organise events, festivals, and activities that celebrate cultural diversity
  • Develop Confidence: Help students build self-expression, stage presence, and communication skills

7.Scribble day

Flamingo – The Cultural Society also organized Scribble Day for the first batch (2022–2026) of Guru Tegh Bahadur Fourth Centenary Engineering College.

The event was dedicated to the fourth-year students, providing them with an opportunity to relive their journey and celebrate the bonds they had built over the years. Students came together to write heartfelt messages, memories, and inside jokes on each other’s shirts, turning simple moments into lasting keepsakes.

Scribble Day served as a beautiful reminder of the friendships, experiences, and emotions that defined their college life, making it a cherished and memorable occasion for the graduating batch.

 

 

 

8. Muklawa’26 – Farewell

Also organized Muklawa 2026, the official farewell for the fourth-year students (Batch 2022–2026) of Guru Tegh Bahadur Fourth Centenary Engineering College.

The event marked a heartfelt conclusion to their four-year journey, bringing together memories, achievements, and emotions. Through a blend of performances, acknowledgements, and moments of reflection, the farewell celebrated the contributions and legacy of the first batch.
